Eduardo Polonio no es una figura de renombre dentro de la escena progresiva española, aunque de su currículum se puede destacar haber sido la mitad del dúo vanguardista IT, los cuales editaron un único disco en la legendaria Serie Gong (Triana, Ibio, Gualberto...) del sello Movieplay. De hecho, este disco es el más raro de la serie (tanto por la escasez de ejemplares como por su sonido).
"Obras Electroacústicas 1969-1998" es una caja de 5 CD's que recopila lo que su título indica. Incluye algunos LP's enteros, o casi (Acaricia La Mañana, Bload Stations*Sintax Error...), que no han sido editados en CD. Lamentablemente, esta caja parece ser un artefacto de factoría casera -por ende de tirada muy limitada- y viene en formato CD-R. Dada la vida útil de este soporte, es muy recomendable guardar copias de seguridad.
Respecto al contenido de la caja, realmente, solo los dos primeros volúmenes deberían atraer la atención de los aficionados al rock progresivo. Los demás volúmenes ya se alejan demasiado del género.
Los dos primeros volúmenes de este compendio ya han sido posteados, aunque se trataba de rips en MP3 a 160 kbps. En esta ocasión, he subido los cinco volúmenes en formato FLAC (copia clónica, sin pérdida del CD original) y MP3 a 320 kbps.

Eduardo Polonio is not a renowned figure of the spanish progressive rock scene, albeit he was one half of the avant-garde duo IT, whom released only one album in the legendary Serie Gong (Gong Series) (Triana, Ibio, Gualberto...) of the Movieplay label. In fact, this album is the rarest of the series (not only because for the difficulty to find it, but also for its sound) so far.
"Obras Electroacústicas 1969-1998" is a 5 CD box set which compiles what its name implies. It features some complete (or almost complete) never-issued-on-CD-before albums (Acaricia La Mañana, Bload Stations*Sintax Error...). Unfortunately, this box set appears to be a homemade artifact, therefore limited to a handful copies, and comes as CD-R's. Given the lifespan of this format, it is highly recommended to keep backup copies of the set.
Regarding the set's content, actually, only the first two volumes should attract the attention of progressive rock lovers. The remaining volumes have little or nothing to do with the genre.
The first two volumes have already been posted here before, but as 160 kbps MP3 rips. In this opportunity, I've uploaded the five volumes in FLAC format (clone, lossless copy of the original CD's) and MP3 at 320 kbps.
